5) GT: To true nerds, car racing is boring. Looks like I have transcended…
4) FF: To be honest, anime + fighting with powers has never really impressed me. Just plain anime, though…..
3) GH: Don’t own it myself, play it over friends house. The learning curve for Rock Band, once you’re used to GH, is just too hard for me. I will admit, your wrist starts to hurt after (trying to) play Through Fire & Flames on Expert.
2) GTA: Good, up until they did the … Stories games. Vice City was a good game – until I played VC Stories. GTA IV is good though (because it runs on my new computer!)
1) Halo: The first one was a revolution, the second one was slightly better. The only good thing about the third one is the Forge mode – otherwise, it’s just a waste of time.

I was brunt out on GTA during Vice city. I found myself only playing for the motorcycle and 80′s R&B music. I played 4 and was just uninterested

I still find watching people play GH fun, then again, my friends only play 1 and 2
I never touched Halo and never will.

Dragon Quest VIII alone made me tired of Dragon Quest.

The games some 70 hours long. It’s filled with quite a bit to do, and tons of interesting things, but after a while it’s just draining.

It seems every time I get tired with Final Fantasy I find another one that revitalizes me. I found X to be a drag and couldn’t bring myself to actually finish it, but I find XII rather refreshing.

The only series I can think of that I’ve really turned my back on would be the DBZ Tenkaichi series. I wasn’t aware at first that they slapped the Budokai title onto them just to try and get more north americans to buy the thing. I’m a big fan of the Budokai series. Budokai 3 in particular. I felt it was a decent fighter, and captured the feel of DBZ much better than anything that came before, or after it.

I think the one that I can’t stand the most here lately is Harvest Moon (and it pains me to say that). I was a hardcore HM fanatic and loved the first, I dunno…10 of them. Then one came out and I said, “What’s new in this one?” and when I realized that the only answer was “You can raise goats now too!”…I was done.

I could not disagree more with 2, 4 and 5. These are the pinnacle of our industry and have warranted the demand for a sequels with critical acclaim and high sales figures.
