Why I Love Gamers

If you aren’t familiar with the whole ignorantly punned “seXbox” lameness that’s been making the rounds, go get caught up before we continue.

Okay, so folks paid attention to the entire news clip that aired on Fox with Kieghley taking on Cooper Lawrence, an inept scaremongering panelist and clueless psychologist.  It turns out Cooper’s real motivation may have been deciding to try and promote her new book by coming on the show and bagging on Mass Effect.  Folks figured out that her book must be available online, and now File Front reports gamers headed over to Amazon to review her book like she reviews Mass Effect.

File Front claims that Amazon is/was attempting to remove negative one star reviews, but evidently they can’t keep up with the relentless tidal wave of gamers.  A half hour ago I checked the site, and there were 260 or so reviews.  There’s now 292 of them (just refreshed, it’s 294 now), and only 10 of them are good.

And while the reviews are hilariously appropriate considering her blatant “I haven’t played Mass Effect but I hear it’s got pr0n in it,” what’s even better is that gamers have figured out that they can also upload images of her “book,” such as this one:

HA HA I R DUM

I love it when gamers game other systems.  Watching her book’s page on Amazon unfold tonight just might win out over the new demo for The Club that just went live today.
