Just a few quick notes tonight:

• Tried Rock Band doing both the singing and the guitar at the same time. That was pretty tough, even on the easy songs in my range that I’m relatively familiar with the lyrics (Creep, Black Hole Sun). Finally worked my way up to Expert Guitar and Med Mic on Creep. That felt pretty good. Unfortunately the headset sucks out loud for singing on. It doesn’t pick up your voice very well as it’s designed to filter out background noise and keep everyone from hearing the 12 year old who yells “lawl fagzor” at the top of his lungs every night while playing teh Haloz. This means:
• I need a mic stand for Rock Band. Possibly with one of those guitar arm extensions?
• If the site is broken, feel free to leave a comment if nobody has already. There’s a bug in WordPress where if I edit an entry that has a video embedded in it, WP will throw out half of the code for the embedded vid and not warn me. That means half the tags are missing so fonts appear tiny, eveyrthing’s center justified, and so on. If I see a typo or want to reword something, I edit some copy, and then bam the whole site’s messed up. And evidently only in Firefox, not IE. Yay.
• Crysis, which I’m finding to be absolutely delicious in single and multi player, has some serious faults which drive me batshit. I will nitpick them tomorrow night. Maybe. I might even get to send my notes to the dev team, once I finish it, which is pretty cool. Gotta keep ‘em professional. All I know is I want that voice everywhere I go.  Like in my car, for starters:

/turn key in ignition.

IGNITION ENGAGED

/put car in drive

DRIVE ENGAGED

/floor gas pedal

MAXIMUM SPEED

See? It would make those “your door is ajar” cars seem like Chumpy McClowncars by comparison.
